Hi, I'm a freelance journalist & mum of three. This blog is about my oldest child, Chrissy, who's 29, & has learning disabilities & complex needs. For years the cause of her problems was unexplained. Then 5 years ago we learned that she had a rare chromosome disorder - 1q21.1 microdeletion - & autism. We are on a very late learning curve!
